Hidden Gems Of Saidulajab

Saidulajab is a small census town in Saket. It’s located on the stretch from Saket metro station¬†to Garden Of Five Senses. Located 10-15 minutes away from the Saket malls, it’s becoming a buzzing hub of cafes and restaurants.

With so many malls in and around Delhi, places like these are a great change for people who want to try something out of the box and experiment with food.

1.¬†BLUE TOKAI COFFEE ROASTERS¬†: This caf√© is literally ‘hidden’ in the narrow¬†streets of Saidulajab. It’s not easy to find it on the map as well but once you are there, the ambience of this place will elevate your mood instantly. It’s a rustic little caf√© with nicely done up interiors. The strong aroma of coffee welcomes as you enter and you can’t help but be mesmerized by it. It’s one of those rare caf√©s who roast their own coffee beans. Rich and flavoursome, their coffee is an absolute delight. One will find people reading, working or having a chat. The dark chocolates they offer are amazing and available in various flavours. The Nutella cookie is a must. They also serve quiches and sandwiches as well as salads. They also have outdoor seating ¬†available. If coffee makes your world go round, a visit to blue tokai is a must.

2.¬†ROSE CAFE¬†: This place gives you a vintage feel as you enter. It’s a small cafe with pink and blue interiors and rustic furniture. From having small lamps to a guitar on the wall, this place is nicely done up and is simply beautiful. It’s an amazing place to spend some quality time with someone. One of the first places to open up in this area, this place has our hearts with the dainty victorian decor. ¬†They have a wide variety in Italian, Lebanese and continental cuisines. They also offer Mediterranean cuisine. The spaghetti, Mezze platter and the skinny pizza’s are a must have. With a variety in beverages, Desserts and all day breakfast, this place can’t be missed. They also offer outdoor seating which is perfect for winter evenings and is just gorgeous in the way it’s done up. Go to rose cafe for lovely interiors and obviously for the love of good food.¬†

3.¬†SSONGCHEE – KOREA BINGS CAFE¬†: With only a minimal number of authentic Korean restaurants in Delhi, this one deserves a special mention. This place has pleasant and soothing interiors. Located atop a somewhat elevated area, this place is done up simply yet nicely. It’s run by a Korean guy and he’s done a darn good job. People also come to this place to grab a quick meal while working simultaneously or business meetings. They have a small yet interesting menu. The Ramyun is their speciality and you can choose from a wide variety. The kimbab sushi is surely worth it. They also serve home made fruit tea and dutch coffee. Apart from this, one can also try their rice cakes, sandwiches and bings. Bings are basically Korean snow desserts. This place also offers outdoor seating. Try Ssongchee for the authentic korean cuisine they offer and¬†some ‘me’ time.¬†
