Zarin Daruwala
Mrs. ZarinDaruwala was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank India, effective 1st April 2016. Prior to assuming her current role, Zarin was the President at ICICI Bank responsible for managing the Wholesale Banking business of the Bank.
She was named as the fourteenth most powerful woman in business by Fortune in 2016 and was selected as one of the top 30 most powerful women in Indian business by Business Today 6 times.
She has also been conferred with the CA Business Achiever award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Zarin is a rank holder Chartered Accountant and a Gold Medalist Company Secretary. #TalkOfTheTown
Anna Hazare
Business Conclave’s keynote speaker Mr. Anna Hazare is a renowned social reformer in the world’s biggest democracy, India. He has contributed in bringing transparency in government work at different levels, forcing government to make new laws and enabling effective implementation of laws.
Anna started do or die hunger strike at Ramlila ground in Delhi on 16th August 2011.Due to this unprecedented people movement, Parliament of India called for night session on 27th August and passed the resolution to implement JanLokpal Bill.The movement was named among the “Top 10 News Stories of 2011” by Time magazine. This was one of the golden movement in Indian history which strengthened Indian democracy.
