DU Admissions 2017 : University of Delhi decided to declare 2 more cutoffs for reserved categories as a part of the special drive to fill the vacant seats.
This move left the Unreserved category students angry because no official statement was issued by the university for Unreserved category students.
Students belonging to reserved categories went to take admission today on the first day of 8th cutoff but many applicants were left shocked as college denied admission to them. The colleges told them that if you get your admission cancelled from a Delhi University college, you won’t get admission here.
An ST Category student at Delhi College of Arts and Commerce was left shocked after travelling 2 hours to the college and knowing that he’s not eligible for admission.”I am currently in Satywati College (Eve) and am clearing the cutoff here at DCAC. I traveled 2 hours to reach the college and confirm my admission but it was of no use.Neither,I’ve the course I want to pursue at Satywati College (Eve) nor its a morning college. It would’ve been better if I didn’t take admission.DU should’ve told us this thing before.”
Students at various colleges kept saying ‘Admission hi na lete agar pehle batadia hota toh’
