One of the most controversial movies of the year ‘Udta Punjab’ was leaked on Internet few hours back and thousands of people have downloaded the movie and shared the link on Internet.This shows what is really wrong with the Indian society.

Producers of the drug-themed drama ‘Udta Punjab’,slated for Friday release have lodged a complaint with cyber police alleging that the film was leaked online.

In the complaint lodged with the cyber crime police in Bandra, they stated the film was uploaded before its
release by some unidentified persons.Interestingly the movie leaked online has got ‘FOR CENSOR’ watermark on it.

“Young generation is undoubtedly taking technology to another level and discovering hacks for almost everything. But after a moment, a line has to be drawn” says Shubham Sharma, a College of Vocational Studies student.

‘Udta Punjab’ was in news after the censor board suggested 89 cuts for the movie to get a certificate.Later,it went to the Revising Committee,which brought it down to 13 cuts. However,the Bombay High Court on Monday gave green signal to the movie only with just one cut.This incident has raised a lot of questions and it’ll surely grab eyeballs in coming days.
