UPSC results declared,LSR graduate Tina Dabi bags top spot

A 22-year-old woman from Delhi has topped the 2015 civil services examination on her first attempt and a railway officer from Jammu and Kashmir secured the second position as the results of one of India’s toughest tests was announced on Tuesday.

Tina Dabi topped the test, followed by Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan and Delhi’s Jasmeet Singh Sandhu.

A graduate in political science from Delhi University’s Lady Shri Ram College.Tina Dabi completed her schooling from the Convent of Jesus & Mary.‚ÄúIt is indeed a proud moment for me,‚Äù she told PTI.

The final merit list was prepared based on the results of the written examination held in December, 2015 and the interviews for Personality Test held in March-May, 2016.

A total of 1078 candidates have been recommended for appointment to Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
