Whatsapp, the most user demanded app is all set to revise the features in context to the time limit. On initial basis the feature which allowed to delete the messages within 7 min was further spiked up to 1 hour, eight minutes and 16 seconds.
With addition of the new ‘Recipient Limit’ feature, the users need to accept the delete request within 13 hours 8 minutes and 16 seconds in order to delete the older messages sent months ago which means the recipient has to accept the revoke request within 13 hours 8 minutes and 16 seconds if you wish to delete the message you sent to that contact.Basically this new feature of delete for everyone will come into effect with respect to the recipient and not the sender. Also if the sender chooses to delete the message for everyone and the revoke request is not accepted by recipient within the 13 hours 8 minutes and 16 seconds, then the message will not be deleted.
According to WABetaInfo this feature is meant to be a preservation against the people who wish to delete the message for everyone in a conversation which was sent way back. However it is yet to be confirmed that whether this new update has already been executed or will take another couple of days to come into existence. Also the users no need to make any changes deliberately to enable the updated feature. Rather everything will be propelled from back end.
