Took the pain of changing your favorite picture just because it was too bright for WhatsApp? Well, with WhatsApp’s dynamic feature of dimming the wallpaper, the pain has gone. The tweak is seamless due to the presence of a slider to adjust the brightness of the wallpaper. While this is a seemingly minor change, the tweak can help WhatsApp users get a more refined and personalized user experience.
The ‘Wallpaper Dimming’ feature on WhatsApp appears at the bottom of WhatsApp’s chat wallpaper editing screen in Beta versions. Using a slider, users will be able to select the intensity or opacity of the background wallpaper – from being more prominent to more subtle.
