165 Outlets Of McDonald’s To Stay Shut For 2 Weeks In North & East India

McDonald’s India has finally reached a settlement with the ex partner Vikram Bakshi by acquiring full ownership in their joint venture Connaught Plaza Restaurants Ltd.

The American fast food chain was involved in a long legal battle with Mr Bakshi, claiming his company breached the terms of franchise agreement.Mr Bakshi’s company operated outlets in North & East India.

The company has closed 165 outlets in North and East India to conduct a “comprehensive assessment of operational protocols and employee training“. The outlets will be re-opened over the next two weeks.
