Online registration for admission to undergraduate courses has been winded up.Nearly 2.7 Lakh applications have been registered this year at undergraduate level out of which 90 percent applications are from CBSE,a certain rise 21 percent can be evident this year in the applications. A total of 2,78,000 students have completed their registration this year in which the most preferred course by the students is English followed by BA Programme and Political Science.Economics and History were other courses for which the maximum number of students applied.
Among the science courses, the maximum number of applications were piled up by Mathematics,nearly trailed by Physics and Computer Science.The total number of applications envisioned these courses were 70,000.
The admission process will commence with the release of very first cut-off which is set to be released on June 19,2018. It has been said that only five cut-offs are expected to be released this year but may vary depending on the availability of the seats.
