As of August 10, 2020, the Delhi University has begun to conduct the Open Book Examinations(OBEs) for the final year students in online mode. The proposal for the OBEs was met with a lot of opposition, with several petitions being filed against it thus making it a difficult task to carry out this exercise with several petitions. However, DU was eventually granted sanction to go ahead with its plan from August 10, 2020, under strict guidelines. There are several suggestions and Court-ordered mandates that have been taken into consideration by the University for framing the examination guidelines that are crucial for the students.
For the majority of undergraduate courses, examinations would begin at 11:30 am, while the examination of the postgraduate courses would start from 9:30 am. It is advisable that the students log on to to the official website du.ac.in in order to confirm their slots on the datasheet available.
