NSUI is stressing on the fact how ABVP backed DUSU post bearers are setting a bad example in the University referring to Secretary Mahamedha Nagar’s detention over short attendance earlier (Read : DUSU Secretary Mahamedhaa Nagar May Lose Her Post Over Low Attendance) and now Joint Secretary Uma Shankar’s failure to clear his exams.
NSUI’s National Media Convenor Neeraj Mishra in a Press Release said “Though technically he will continue to be a student of DU but morally he holds no right to continue in his office.Earlier,Mahamedha was detained on grounds of short attendance which makes it de facto to get her admission cancelled and now Uma Shankar has also exhibited utter negligence by not appearing for examination.”
“We urge all the students to kindly raise their voice and ask DU administration and ABVP to kindly suspend both of them from office.” the Press Release went on to say.
