Delhi University Conducts Webinar For Visually Impaired Students

Delhi University on Tuesday conducted a webinar on COVID-19 for visually impaired students. There are roughly 3,000 students with disabilities studying in the University. The webinar was conducted to help students cope up with problems they are facing currently due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Tyagi told visually impaired students and faculty members that the University will ensure that problems faced by them due to the recent change in academic calendar and introduction of newer content delivery methods will be taken care of.

The webinar was titled  ‘COVID-19 and the Challenges of the Visually Impaired’. The University will be preparing a policy concerning steps required to help the visually impaired, the document will be made public.
