Delhi University will start a diploma course on disability from nxet academic session.
DU vice-chancellor Yogesh Tyagi in the recently organised convocation ceremony mentioned that the university would like to start a centre for disability studies soon.

An 8 member committee will meet on 14th December 2017 to discuss the proposals to plan the setting up of centre.The “initiative is an extension of DU’s endeavours for equality”,Anil Aneja,Chairperson of the committee told Times of India.
“Already we have several departments in the university that allow research on disability but with this centre, it will be a focused setup,” he told Times of India.
