Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) in an executive meeting on Tuesday decided to end the admission process boycott but to continue with the evaluation boycott which still isn’t a good news for existing DU students especially final year students who aren’t being able to take admission in colleges for further education.

The teachers association is protesting against the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) notification which has made Academic Performance Indicator (API) stringent. API is the basis of promotion for teachers in Delhi University. It is also said that the new notification will lead to a lot of job cuts for ad hoc teachers.
