A 19-year-old Delhi University student was found hanging at her PG in northeast Delhi‚Äôs Karawal Nagar area.The student has been identified as Rashmi by the police.The police also added that no suicide note was found at the spot.The student’s family claims that Rashmi has been murdered allegedly by a neighbour.
A call was made to police at 7:55 AM by the landlord according to AK Single,DCP (Northeast).The team reached the crime spot and took the woman,a second-year student at Delhi University’s Vivekananda College to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.
“We informed her family. They collected the body after the post-mortem was conducted. They have raised suspicion that a neighbour might have murdered her. But doctors indicate suicide,” AK Singla,DCP (Northeast) said.
