A student from the Commerce department of Daulat Ram College has conveyed her case describing the unjust behaviour of their faculty. The concerned DRC student wishes to stay anonymous.
The commerce faculty of DRC asked students to give examination for internal assessment. However, according to the new guidelines, assignments are to submitted.
The concerned DRC student agreed that while the internals are a college based decision, the faculty never consulted the students before taking this step. She also added that the students are asked to keep their cameras switched on. This becomes an issue as many students face network issues and struggle to get decent internet connectivity.
Another issue put forward regarding the same was the extensive syllabus. They had to prepare more than 60% of the total syllabus for the examination. The students expressed concern regarding the same. However, it was not addressed well.
Throughout the issue, the Commerce Union of DRC was absent. The concerned DRC student shared that the union showed concern just the day before the examination. Along with this, DRC Faculty changed the format a day prior. Some of them also reduced the time limit i.e. from an hour to 25 minutes, just before the exam.
