In updates of the admission process, the University of Delhi has opened a correction window for registered students seeking admission to postgraduate programs. Every year, thousands of students from around the country and even many parts of the world compete for the limited seats.
Students who have registered for PG have the option to change their applications till the 27th of August. However, for the change, information related to the fields of gender, category, registered mobile number, Email-ID, PwBD status and sports option can not be edited. An official DU statement was released stating, “Edit option in the postgraduate applications will be opened from August 23rd to August 27th, 2021 to update/make corrections in the registration.”
Here are the steps that students will have to follow to be able to edit their post-graduation application form –
- Begin by visiting the DU PG registration portal — admission.uod.ac.in
- Either login directly or click on the link available on the platform for correction.
- Edit the required information. If required, re-upload documents that might be needed.
- Finally, save the changes made and submit the corrected DU PG 2021 application form.
Earlier on the 21st of August, the registration process for the postgraduate programmes of the university was closed receiving a gigantic number of applications for a meagre 20,000 seats. The applications received had surpassed the 1.8 lakh mark. Therefore this year, to make the admission process easier and more accessible, the university had launched an online portal dedicated to this. The admission portal was made to facilitate students seeking admission, to fill the application form, pay the fees and check any latest updates and gain details. In the early stages of the admission process, the university also held an open session to clarify all the doubts students had related to admission and filling the form.
Simultaneously, the admission registrations are still on for undergraduate students. The university has seen a large number of applications for its limited seats being one of the most prestigious universities in the country. A merit list is expected in October.
