DU Admissions 2019 have again been delayed. The registration process which was likely to begin today wont start today. There is also no information about the date from when the admission process would begin.

The reason behind delay is the fact that DU’s admission committee has not yet decided on the agency which will conduct the entrance exams.

Last year, the admission process started on May 15.

“The portal is the same for merit-based courses and entrance exam based courses. The admission process will start once the dates are finalised. We are yet to finalise the agency that will be conducting the entrance exams.” the Dean told Times Now.

There are also reports suggesting technical glitches during the testing process of the server which is an another cause behind this delay

“The standing committee had recommended that there should be tie-ups with e-wallets and other payment gateways so that students can easily pay the fee.” a DU official told Times Now.

“Earlier, there was only one payment gateway which would lead to the server crashing but having multiple gateways will ease the process.” he added.
