DU Admissions 2019 : Psychology Preferred Choice Of Aspirants This Year

Psychology is gaining popularity amongst the candidates at the undergraduate level.Toppers of CBSE class XII, Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora who scored 99.8% opted for Psychology Honours at Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR).

In total, 1,12,312 applications were received by the Delhi University for Psychology this year ; more than the applications received in 2018 which were only 57,584.Due to the massive popularity of the subject, the cut-off is increased by 3% in 7 colleges. Highest cut-off for Psychology Honours was released by LSR this year at 98.75%.

Despite the rising popularity of this subject, only 17 colleges in Delhi University offer courses in Psychology or Applied Psychology at the undergraduate level. Out of these only 5 colleges are co-educational.
