Naga Group Accuses St. Stephens College Of Discrimination In Admission Process

Delhi University’s St Stephen’s College has extended the last day for registration, following a Delhi High Court direction. The college carries out its admission process separately and has now extended the deadline to 22nd June.

After hearing multiple petitions challenging Delhi University’s recently amended eligibility criteria for admissions to several undergraduate courses, including B.Com (Hons) and BA (Hons) Economics, the court directed the University to move back to the earlier eligibility criteria and also extend the deadline from 14th June to 22nd June.

Delhi University’s registration process for undergraduate admissions commenced on 30th May this year.

  • 3,46,310 candidates have registered on the Delhi University’s website for admission to UG courses as on 6:30 PM 17th June 2019
  • Out of 3.46 lakh aspirants,2,42,003 applicants have paid the application fees
  • 1,43,865 applicants from unreserved category, 51135 applicants from OBC category, 32216 applicants from SC category, 6631 applicants from ST category and 8156 applicants from EWS category have paid the application fees.
