Delhi University has extended the last date of online registration for admission to undergraduate courses to 22nd June 2016.
Initially, the last date for submission was June 19, but the date was extended after recommendation by the admissions committee.
According to university officials,many OBC category students were not able to upload their income certificates.
The extension also means a delay in the first cut-off list for admissions this year.The first cut-off list is now expected to come out on 30th June 2016 instead of 27th June 2016.
“The last date to fill the online registration form has been extended to June 22 keeping in mind the difficulties being faced by OBC candidates. This will shift the entire admission schedule by three days,” a university official said.
The number of applicants that registered online rose to over three lakh on Thursday.
