Salary packages at Delhi University are touching the sky with average salary packages also witnessing a steep rise at most of the colleges.
According to a Times of India report, an Economic Honours student from LSR has bagged a package of 38 Lakh per annum this year.This is the highest salary package offered at Delhi University this year.The same job was offered to an LSR student last year at 37 Lakh per annum and was based in Singapore.
‚ÄúComparatively, the package this year is very high as the job is based in India,‚Äù Kanika Ahuja, LSR’s Public Relations Officer told Times of India.
At Shri Ram College of Commerce, the highest package offered this year was 31 Lakh per annum.The highest package of Rs. 31 Lakh was offered by the consulting giant, EY-Parthenon which was bagged by two BCom Honours students.

At Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, the institute witnessed a participation of 17 companies. KPMG and Bain Capability Centre were the largest recruiters with 16 and 15 offers respectively. The average package amounted to INR 6.6 Lakh per annum while the highest package offered was INR 16.25 Lakh per annum. The highlight of this phase was FTI consulting offering a Frontline Consulting role.On the other hand,Goldman Sachs visited the campus for first time to hire interns for their Investment Banking Division.
