E-cell DTU organized its Annual flagship event UDAAN E-Summit,2020 in collaboration with DCE-DTU alumni association.
The three day event which started on 30th Jan, 2020 saw an amalgamation of sharp young students, path leading professionals who came together to establish an entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The lineup for the first day was – Leadership and Disruption series which was followed by a Youtube Entrepreneur program where YouTubers- Slaypoint, RJ Abhinav and Nazarbattu interacted with the students and shared their YouTube journey. The Youtubers answered some fun questions of the audience on how to become a YouTuber, the pros and cons of being one and the misconceptions people have about the YouTubers. The opening ended on a hilarious note when the all in one comedian, artist and singer- Kenny Sebastian put the icing on the cake and entertained the massive audience of 3k+ people with his wits and humor. Kenny mesmerized the audience with his songs and puns. The mixture of music and comedy coming together on one platform fueled the grand start to E-Summit 2020.
On the 2nd Day there was a talk session followed by a panel discussion on the topic Chasing Unicorns, which was followed by a Startupthon, where out of 500 entries the top 15Â startups exhibited their unique ideas and presented their pitch in front of the panel of judges.
The 3rd Day was the startup internship fair where 40+ startups gave opportunity to university students to explore more options in their career.
The 3 day Extravaganza ended on a musical note when Lagori Band, reflecting the face of the modern Indian youth combined its Indian classical melodies and inflections with Rock music. The crowd was high on energy, zest and zeal, the whole DTU arena resonated with the vibe.
