Delhi is home to about 40,000 stray dogs who survive the biting cold during the winters.Understanding the plight of these street dogs, the members of Enactus Hindu College,are relaunching Warmth for Paws 2.0 this year after a successful edition of it last year to help street dogs brave the harsh Delhi winters by collecting old woollens or sweaters.
Puppychino, a dog cafe in Shahpur Jat, is on board with Enactus Hindu to help in the collection of sweaters and vests.Hindu College will also serve as one of the collection points for the donations.
Winters in Delhi this season have been predicted to be colder and longer than before,expected to stretch till February end-March beginning.Man’s best friend is often the silent sufferer of the biting winter cold and thus, Enactus Hindu has initiated to make their lives little warmer, softer and more comfortable.
