Exam time is almost near and it’s time for students to gear up. But isn’t this the time when we loose our focus the most. We find distractions in all directions. Not to worry! Set a goal
Before starting with your study routine set a goal. Decide a task which you think is the most important and set your all focus and attention towards completing it. This will help you to manage your work without getting chaotic and help you in completing it fast without any delays.
Set a Time Limit
After you have decided the goal now set a time limit to accomplish the goal. Lets assume your goal is to complete one chapter so now you should fix a time limit in which you think you can complete that task like an hour or so. This will help in keeping you on your toes and you won’t be able to shun your work.
Take Breaks
With studying it is also necessary to take short breaks of 5-10 minutes. Grab youself a drink, go out for a walk or look out of window or simply take some rest. After every 45 minutes you should take one such short break. This helps you to freshen up. Otherwise continous studying can lead to boredom and you may loose your focus.
Treat Yourself
Give yourself a treat everytime you accomplish your goal. It could be your favourite biscuits, a pie of cake, your any favourite food or anything you desire. Now let’s all agree, food can help us bear any torture 😛 . This will actually motivate you. This is like rewarding yourself which will in turn help you to continue with all your might and not to forget the desire of getting another treat will keep you moving.
Say No To Distractions
Avoid all kinds of distractions, like switch off your phones, clear your thoughts, lock yourself up in a room where you can get solace and then study.
