YIN & YANG. Find the good in the bad and the bad in the good. This is what life is all about. Opposite values are complementary. If you are Sad today, you’ll be Happy tomorrow. If you fail today, you will succeed as well and vice versa.  So if life is nothing but series of experiences from childhood to death, then why do we hold on to the negatives so much while ignoring the positives?

The answer is our yearning to lead a good life. We want to be successful, we want to be rich, we want to be famous and most of all we want to be accepted.  And if we want to be accepted, we have to accept ourselves and our situations first.

Doing something is better than doing nothing even if you failed at it. Experience is what you get when you don’t get what you want. This way you learn what to do and what not to do next time a similar situation comes.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. When a plan fails multiple times, you brainstorm and find better solutions for it, which makes you wiser and enhances your skills.

When you succeed repeatedly, you become complacent and arrogant. These qualities stop you from growing further. Failure motivates you to constantly work on yourself and build yourself into a better person.

Success means nothing if it isn’t hard to get. If one were to succeed easily, one wouldn’t value it. Even after achieving success, failure reminds us of our struggle to get where we are. It reminds us the worth of good times and prevents us from taking things for granted.

Nothing lasts forever. You have to make efforts to make it lasts. The moment you stop making the required effort, everything demolishes. Situations in life are temporary, so is failure. You need to let go of it. Naturally, A day dedicated to disappointment is okay, but you should make sure to learn and move on because life doesn’t stop.
