IMT Ghaziabad is all geared up for its upcoming inter-college online gaming event E-Xult’21. It would witness participation from the top B-schools of the country. The full-fledged gaming event will be organised by the Sports Committee of IMT and would go on for five days from 3rd to 7th February. The launch event is on 2nd February with Grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand being the honourable guest who would interact with students and share his myriad of personal experiences. The event would include games like COD-M, CS GO, Chess, DOTA 2, and Valorant, with the expected overall participation of over 1500 students.Â
The event entails “Quest for Crest”- a pre-event campaign for E-Xult, which includes various interactive activities. The campaign is designed in such a way that despite being on a virtual platform, they are integrating the physical elements of sports through various challenges.
IMT Ghaziabad Sports Committee’s flagship event, “Chakravyuh”, renowned as the Olympics of B-schools has a legacy of 24 years. Over the years it has witnessed gruelling competition among top B-schools vying for the coveted Chakravyuh trophy. With sports legends such as Jonty Rhodes and Baichung Bhutia being the respected guests for the launch events, the Sports Committee has lived up to its name by holding the sports spirits high and making the event as enthralling as possible.Â
The tough times we are in demands for a strong call to action and in a bid to uphold the sports culture of IMT Ghaziabad and the participation it draws, they are going online through the first ever E-sports event the college has conducted.
The event is open for all B-schools, who may participate forming a team of 5 players each. Here is the link for registration- http://bit.ly/Exult2021
