Everyone wishes to take admission in a college that can help them to soar towards prosperity. The path they wish to take, the path that is going to get them where their final destination lies. Getting into a college is not where the struggle on the way to success ends, but that is where it starts. Once students finally settle in their college, they move ahead seeking opportunities to get into their desired societies.

Getting into a society not only helps students to enhance their CV but to enhance their abilities, develop their personality and provide them with training to become what they aspire to be. People tend to join societies which interest them the most and seem to be the perfect chance to make things fall in place and land up on the right path. For example- if photography is all that gets a person’s juices flowing, then he/she would certainly love to join the photography society.

”You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”Ansel Adams

Getting into a society is a perfect way to socialize and get to know more and more people in the college. It helps significantly in settling down in the college and getting out of your comfort zone. Meeting people with same interests as you is not only fascinating but also motivating. Your society friends end up being your college squad in most cases.

Learning and improving your photography skills

You get to learn how to use a DSLR camera even if you actually don’t own one. All your fellow society members encourage you to learn photography and provide you with all the necessary tips, tricks and knowledge. If you are already a good photographer, the society helps to polish your skills and get creative with your talent.

Photo walks sometimes even take place in crowded areas like Chandni Chowk, Connaught Place, etc. and there are countless number of possibilities of getting numerous perfect clicks.

Covering Events

The first thing you are taught is that photographers don’t cover events but capture memories for people. You have to do your job with the same thought in your mind. It is really interesting as you get to attend all the astonishing events happening in your college and the other colleges in well.

Outstation Trips

Working of the society is not just confined to the city, you get to go to various outstation trips as well and attend some mind blowing fest. Outstation trips help you to get to know more people, interact with people from other colleges, grow as an individual and of-course have lots of fun. You expand your limits, compete at a higher level and get to cover enchanting events.

Breaking the stereotypes and exploring yourself

Becoming a part of a photography is a wonderful experience as it helps you to get the exposure that a photographer needs and helps you to focus on exploring your skills.
