After Ankiv Baisoya,now NSUI’s National Secretary Akshay Kumar,has been accused of submitting a fake mark sheet to get admission in Delhi University’s Department of Buddhist Studies.
One of the officials from Delhi University said that the matter came to light after the documents got verified in January 2018,for students who have enrolled in PhD courses.
Akshay Kumar took admission in March 2017 and submitted an MA English Mark sheet from Manav University Solan (Himachal Pradesh),on verification of the documents the University said that they were ‘fake’ and an FIR has been lodged a few months back in this matter.
NSUI called it a trick in order to cover up for ABVP & Ankiv Baisoya’s Fake Mark-Sheet scam,they also said that these are mere tactics in order to divert the attention.They also added that the case was registered months back and is now being highlighted in order to demean NSUI.
Akshay Kumar was elected to the Delhi University’s Student Union as a Joint Secretary in 2010.
