Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSBCS), one of the top DU colleges that specializes in Management and Computer Science courses recently hosted the first Phase of the Placement Season of 2020-21.
The college witnessed the participation of forty plus companies that majorly offered jobs in the fields of Investment Banking, Analytics, Consulting and Finance. The recruiters included several prominent establishments like Deloitte, Zomato, Mckinsey & Company and Dabur. Newer companies like IHS Markit, Bridge to India and Quintics Management Consultancies were also brought under the college’s portfolio of recruiters.
The highest package of INR 19.25 LPA was offered by The D.E. Shaw Group, while the average package amounted to INR 9 LPA. Eighty plus job offers were extended to the applicants where the Gross Package added up to 7 crores and the Median Package was INR 9.74 LPA.
The Placement Season was also adapted to elevate some of the strains presented in the market by Covid-19. It offered students a multitude of opportunities such as full-time and part-time jobs, as well as internships to ease in the endeavour of seeking employment.
