The Planning Forum of St. Stephen’s College is hosting its tenth edition of the St. Stephen’s Model United Nations on 2nd, 3rd and 4th February, 2018. The event attracts more than 300 delegates from all over the country and is regarded as one of the most prestigious events in the Mun-ning circuit.
With an interesting line up of committees, combined with a qualified Executive Board, the event attracts participants from all over the country. This year, we have five committees- Special Political and Decolonization Committee, UN Women, UN Chief Executive Board for Coordination, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and Niti Ayog.
We are now inviting final registrations for our double delegation Committee, Chief Executives Board!
The UN System Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) comprises of 31 Executive Heads of the United Nations, its Funds and Programmes, in addition to Specialized Agencies, including the Bretton Woods Institutions (The World Bank and IMF), and Related Organizations – the WTO, the UNOPS and the IAEA. The CEB is the longest-standing and highest-level coordination forum of the United Nations system, and is chaired by the UN Secretary-General.
