Psychology Department Of Aryabhatta College To Celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week From 3rd October

Srijan,The Psychology Association of Aryabhatta College,Delhi University is organizing The Mental Health Awareness Week from 3-5 October.

On the first day of MHAW’18, i.e. 3rd October, the Opening Ceremony will take place in presence of Professor Dr Anand Prakash, HOD of Psychology Department at 9:30 AM followed by a Music Performance at 11:30 AM and an Open Mic performance by the students on the topic “Mental Health” at 12 Noon.They¬†will also be having a Student Panel Discussion on the topic “Queer And Mental Health” from 2:00- 4:00 PM.

On the Second day,4th October,Professor Eric Soreng from Department of Psychology will shine some light on the topic “Cura Animarum : Care and Welfare Of Souls” at 9:30 AM¬†followed by a Dance Therapy by Dr Tanvi Bajaj at 11:30 AM and ending the day with a Movie screening from 2:00- 4:00 PM.

On the final day,5th October,they will have a talk on “Mental Health” by Dr. Jitendra Ngapal, Psychiatrist at Moolchand hospital at 9:00 AM,ollowed by a short play on “Mental Health Awareness”.There will be a¬†talk on the topic “The art of listening and Mental Health” by Professor Neetu Sarin,Assistant Professor at Ambedkar University.
