Rethink’19 Organised By MBA – International Business Students Of Delhi School of Economics

“RETHINK’19”, is the first formal event for this academic session of MBA-International Business, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics is scheduled to be held on the 21st September, 2019. The theme for this year’s event is “Changing paradigm in cross-cultural Business: Emerging opportunities for India” 

The event aims to bring together eminent industry stalwarts from different areas of the business gathering their unique perspectives. The guest speaker for the event will be Mr. TCA Ranganathan, former chairman and managing director of EXIM Bank of India.

RETHINK, Annual Business Symposia is a student driven initiative, organized every year by the Industry Interaction and Students Activity Committee of MBA International Business to get deeper knowledge on currently trending business paradigm from the corporates and policy makers at large. The event is spread across a day, with two sessions and with a diverse and knowledgeable panel of speakers. Each session addresses the bigger picture of the current economic and business scenario. It gives the faculty and the students an opportunity to harness vast pool of practical knowledge and reveal the nitty gritty of the industry.

The event is spread across two panel discussions on the day where the esteemed panelists will give their insights about the topics. The theme for the event is “Changing Paradigm in Cross Cultural Businesses : Emerging Opportunities for India”. The theme revolves around the current scenario in global trade is presenting some peculiar scenarios due to the chain of events like Brexit, US China trade war, Industrialization 4.0 etc. In the light of these events and surge in entrepreneurial spirit in the country, this is the perfect time to take on the opportunities present on the global platform to understand this, we need to dive deep into the most promising aspects that are shaping businesses across the globe and find a way to access them.

The first panel will be discussing on the “Realignment of Agro-based exports: Revolutionizing the Green”  where the onus will be on discovering if India have what it takes to be a leader in this field. The second panel will be discussing on “Economic Diversification in Middle East: A prospering business opportunity for India” where the emerging opportunities for Indian players in gulf will be looked into. It is also a chance to gain an in-depth understanding of recent market trends, as the economy is ever-changing, in the blink of an eye.

Industrial  stalwarts from different areas of the corporate, policy makers and others have made ReThink’19 grander with every subsequent edition and with no doubt ReThink’19 would do justice to the legacy it has built over the years.
