Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College has taken a new initiative in order to help children to build careers in the Government sector.The college has now started providing classes for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in the campus itself.The initiative has been taken up by the College Union (2017-18) along with the support of the Principal and Staff members.
The course will start from 13th of October this month and students have to pay a nominal fees of Rs 1000 for the classes. There will classes on Saturday and Sunday every week so that students can stay connected with their regular college life and cope up with their studies, along with the preparatory classes for UPSC exams.The classes will be for a duration of 4 hours with a break in between after 2 hours.
Professors have been called and forms have been distributed in the campus yesterday.The registration process began today.
