Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is PLANNING to introduce a two-year Masters of Business Administration (MBA) postgraduate degree program from this year.The course is currently pending approval by university is expected to have a profile similar to MBA programs offered by the IIMs.The course will have 65 seats.
SRCC will not require approval from University Grants Commission as its a course funded by the college.
The course has been divided into four semesters and will offer 18 additional courses. “The new course will replace the existing two-year postgraduate Global Business Operations (GBO) diploma program” said RP Rustagi, officiating principal of SRCC. “We are waiting for the MBA programme to be approved by the university,” he added.
Although the MBA degree program is said to be an upgrade to the existing GBO diploma,its course content will be entirely different. It is expected to offer the same subjects and electives as IIM’s offer.
