University Gives 36 Hours To Parties To Clean The Campus,Warns Cancellation Of Election If Needed

University of Delhi has finally woken up and has issued a strict warning asking the student outfits to clean the defaced walls, remove all the posters and banners from the campus area within the next 36 hours.

“Posters in walls, banners and defacement of properties cavalcades of vehicles with banners have been observed moving within the campus as well as adjoining areas.” said the Election Committee.

The election committee and the Proctor told the students if any student will violate the Code of Conduct for DUSU elections and Lyngdoh Committee recommendations and the NGT Order, it will cancel the nomination that particular candidate.

“If the parties within 36 hours do not follow the guidelines, we will not only reject the nomination but also cancel the election.‚Äù¬†the committee added.
