An Official notice dated 19th April has confirmed that the May-June examinations shall commence from the 15th of May. The tentative date sheet for the same was released a few days back. The notice also states that the final date sheet for all Undergraduate courses shall be uploaded on the official site by the end of this month. Whereas all the students of Postgraduate and Certificate courses will be notified by their respective faculties and departments about their final date sheets. Â
These examinations will be conducted in three sessions in a day which will include Sundays. The duration of which shall be three hours. The examination form is now open to be filled by the students of the IV/VI/VIII semester. As of now, the portal will close at 5 p.m.on the 30th of April.Â
For the students who were unable to appear in the OBE Phase I & II, the notice states they can appear for their examinations now. The students of Terminal Semester and Final Year were given this relief in the view of the pandemic as per the revised guidelines of UGC.Â
As for the examinations of UG and PG IV semester students, they will be decided after considering the prevailing condition of Covid-19. The same follows for the essential repeaters, improvement and ex-students of the IInd Semester.Â
The last OBE for the students of the IV/VI/VIII semester was conducted in the month of November-December. The results for a lot of courses haven’t been announced yet. Results of only 49 courses have been declared as of now, where most are for the Vth semester.Â
These examinations will be the last for the batch of 2021. The hopes for at least an offline farewell have been demolished as the capital has moved into lockdown and the condition has been growing worse with every passing hour.Â
The senior batch would be a pass-out one soon and would also be the second batch to wish goodbye at the time of the pandemic. The students who were in their first year when they went to their colleges would now become seniors in third-year with this phase of OBE.Â
