PLACEMENTS AT LSR
The Placement Cell report for the year 2016-17 reads as follows:
“The Placement Cell has had an unprecedented year in placements with the highest domestic package in the University of Delhi of INR 37.8 lacs per annum being offered to a student. Moreover, the Cell has facilitated placements of 120 students this year by hosting a plethora of first-time recruiters; Bira, AIG as well as previous associates such as McKinsey, Citi, Bloomberg and the Big 4 Audit firms among many others with the average compensation package rising to 6.3 lacs p.a. as compared to the previous years. The Placement Cell also continues to collaborate with Swavalamban in its endeavour to seek employment for the differently-abled and the underprivileged.”
COLLEGE EVENTS
• TARANG- THE ANNUAL CULTURAL FEST of LSR is one of the most awaited festivals in DU. TARANG is known for bringing together the best student talent from across the country in fields of music, dance, dramatics, debating, fine arts, quiz, films, photography and other areas of art and culture.
• NOOR- NSS Diwali Mela is an annual fun fair organized by the members of NSS LSR. The fair sees a huge turnout every year and arts and crafts stalls are st up by the students.
• All the departments also have their annual 3-day fests right after tarang.Stretched over a period of 1-2 months, all the department fests see massive participation from DU.

• LSR has been ranked as the #1 ARTS college for the past two years by INDIA TODAY.
• It has consitently been ranked among the top 5 colleges of commerce.

FOOD JOINTS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE COLLEGE CAMPUS
The college campus in itself has multiple food spots. From the cafeteria which offers some of the best momos in DU, to Nescafe and Mother Diary which have the most refreshing drinks and mouth watering Maggi, these spots are all the girls’ favourite.
Also available at the back gate are the tastiest chilli potato and the all time summer hit blue carrasso.
The front gate caters to the more spice-loving portion of the students with sev puri and bhel puri which are worth dying for.
