Delhi University has commenced the UG online registration process for admission in its colleges that are affiliated to Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB). The registration process began on August 2. The last day to apply is August 31.

NCWEB allows female students to attend classes during the weekends. Students can pursue their respective primary courses along with other professional courses, widening their employment options after graduation. It is also convenient for students who cannot attend regular classes because of their residence in remote regions or due to any other constraints.
The Information Bulletin further states:
“NCWEB is in a unique disposition to endow those who have the potential to change and give thrust to socio-economic development in the society through education.”
At the Undergraduate level, the University offers two courses to students under NCWEB. These are B.A. (Programme) and B.Com. Non-Collegiate students are not allowed to pursue any other full time degree course from DU.
NCWEB Requisite Documentation
The documents required for admission under NCWEB are similar to regular courses-
1. Class X marksheet
2. class XII marksheet
3. OBC certificate in case of applicants belonging to the Non-Creamy layer, Central list
4. An income certificate for the financial year 2020-21 to avail reservation under the EWS category
5. A valid disability certificate issued by the respective certifying authority as per the provisions of PWD Act to secure admission under the PWD quota
6. Proof of residence in NCT of Delhi
NCWEB Eligibility
The candidates must have passed the Central Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent examination to apply for NCWEB courses. Currently, 26 colleges under Delhi University are offering NCWEB courses. Merit is to be calculated on the basis of marks secured in any one language mentioned in List A and three best elective subjects mentioned in List B.
DU will be releasing the first and subsequent cut offs lists for NCWEB Admissions 2021 on rolling basis. The date for cut-offs release is yet to be notified.
