DUSU Elections 2018 : 12th September 2018 Is The Election Date;4th September 2018 Last Date To File Nomination

Delhi University today announced the election schedule for Delhi University Students Union.

The last date to file nomination papers is 4th September 2018 while elections will take place on 12th September 2018.

ABVP and NSUI are the top contenders fighting DUSU elections this year.A close watch will be maintained on AISA’s performance as well which has been showing a better performance year by year in recent past.Aam Aadmi Party backed CYSS will also be contesting DUSU elections this year.

Last year the top 2 posts were won by NSUI while the remaining 2 posts went to ABVP.NSUI’s Rocky Tuseed won the DUSU Presidential post last year after a number of controversies.

The DUSU election result will also give an impression of where the youth is inclining towards and would be closely watched by the national parties as the 2019 General Elections aren’t too far away and no party would want to lose popularity amongst the youth of nation.
