Rusk, Custard, Strawberry – Pie Recipe

It’s a new day and it’s time to try making a new dessert! Well, this recipe features a pie that can be made with easily available ingredients. It requires no baking and no pressure cooking even. As simple as it gets!

7-10 Rusks

3 tbsp Custard powder

4 tbsp Sugar

25 Strawberries

2 cup Water

½ cup Cream

½ L Milk

3 tbsp Coffee

¼ Cup Butter

¼ Cup powdered sugar


Prepare a coffee syrup by adding 3tbsp coffee to one cup of water and bringing it to a boil.

Next, to prepare the custard, boil 1/2 litre milk. Mix custard in a bowl with 1/4 cup of milk and transfer the solution to boiled milk. Boil it again.

As the custard begins to thicken, add 3-4 tbsp sugar. Refrigerate the same for at least an hour.

For preparing the strawberry caramel, transfer the strawberries onto a pan, add 1 cup of water and cook on medium heat. Let a solution be formed.

Add ¼ cup butter and ¼ cup of powdered sugar. Let a paste be formed. Next, add ½ cup cream, mix well and let it cook for approximately 3 minutes.

Lastly, dip rusks in coffee syrup and form a flat layer of them in a dessert glass. Pour the remaining syrup on the rusks.

Next, pour the custard on top of the rusks to form a layer.

Spread the strawberry caramel uniformly on top and top it with your favorite nuts!
